Beware the Batman: New Batman animated show Spring of 2013

Holy animated television show Batman!

In the spring of 2013 on Cartoon Networks DC block  a new Batman show called Beware the Batman will take its place in the long line of the Dark Knight’s animated television shows. This new CGI story, which was hinted at in the last episode of Batman:The Brave and the Bold, will take a more serious tone than its predecessors. This Caped Crusader story will not only be featuring the sword swinging Katana and ex-agent butler Alfred, but will also be surprisingly void of any of the Bat’s usual villain. Instead, lesser known bad guys such as Magpie and Anarchy will be used to challenge our heroes. The executive producer of the series, Glen Murakami,  is known for his work with Batman and DC animated television shows. He even won an Emmy for Batman Beyond. So the question on everybody’s tongue is, will Beware the Batman soar high into the night or crash. The answer to that question is at the moment, as mysterious the Batman himself.

The Walking Dead FPS

Right now Telltale Games is releasing an Episodic Adventure Walking Dead game. This is nothing like that. This game follows Merle and Daryl Dixon as they travel to where we first meet them in Atlanta. If you don’t remember those two they are Crossbow guy and Racist brother who gets handcuffed to roof. This FPS allows the player to either shoot through the world or sneak their way to safety. This game also contains a fair amount of supplies management.  I could definitely spend some cash on this.

Alan Moore writing a new …..Movie?

So if you ever watched From Hell, Watchmen or V for Vendetta you may have noticed a name missing from the credits. The creator and writer of these properties, Alan Moore, has always been clear that he wanted no part in the big screen adaptations of his Graphic novels.

Well now i guess he is doing a movie his own. Show Pieces is his collaboration with commercial photographer Mitch Jenkins. Supposedly the film is a collection of short episodes. So far there is no clue as to how many episode there will be but one entitled “Act of Faith” has already been filmed in London.  Now to be fair this is not Moores’ first venture into film. He has done a number of smaller movies with a theater group.

What will come of this award-winning writer?

We will see.

Call the Quote: ” I have been, and always shall be, your friend.”

SO this past week we had a couple of answers. And while they were good technically none were right . Ok, one was right but it was a second post and sorry folks that just doesn’t count. We are trying to keep this fair so no corrections and no Google-ing please.

The quote “Ray, if someone asks you if you are a god, YOU SAY YES!” was from Ghostbusters was by Winston aka Ernie Hudson. Not Bill Murray like most people guessed.

Now, from now on I will only do the movie so it is a bit easier.

Ok New week New quote

Ready?

” I have been, and always shall be, your friend.”
