Best known for his roles in American Horror Story and Boyz N the Hood, Morris Chestnut is rumored to portray Marvels “Black Panther” in the upcoming movie adaptation.

This rumor started when the actor posted on his Facebook and Twitter  “It’s time to get familiar with the Black Panther character!”.He also posted a link the this issue cover. Soon after the news went out, it was taken down again, but not before the internet got ahold of the information.

This character has long been in the works to make a feature film appearance. Scripts have been written and dropped by the wayside in favor of more mainstream characters. Despite that, rumors have been floating that the project is in the works. The rumors got even more support when Stan Lee said in an AMA on reddit.com that Black Panther was one of the more obscure characters he would like to see turned into a major motion picture.
